Caring for your linen

Egyptian cotton rewards a little care. Follow these simple steps and your linen will keep its softness and colour, wash after wash.

The essentials

  • Wash at 30°CGentle cycle, with similar colours
  • Gentle spin800 rpm maximum
  • No bleachAvoid harsh bleaching agents
  • Air dryPreserves the softness of the fibres
  • Iron inside outIdeally while slightly damp

01 · Bed linen

Washing your bed linen

  • Wash before first use to remove finishing residues and start softening the fibres.
  • Wash at 30°C with similar colours, on a gentle cycle with a spin of 800 rpm maximum.
  • Use a mild liquid detergent and avoid bleach and harsh bleaching agents.
  • Close buttons and zips, and turn duvet covers and pillowcases inside out.
  • Don’t overload the drum: your linen needs room to move to come out clean and less creased.

02 · Bed linen

Drying & ironing

  • Prefer air drying — it preserves the quality and softness of the fibres.
  • Shake each piece out and hang it flat, away from strong direct sunlight for coloured linen.
  • Iron inside out, ideally while the linen is still slightly damp, for a crisp, smooth finish.

03 · Bath

Towels

  • Wash your towels before first use.
  • Follow the temperature on the care label and wash with similar colours.
  • Avoid fabric softener: it coats the cotton loops and makes towels less absorbent.
  • Shake your towels before drying to lift the loops.
  • If a loop pulls, trim it with scissors — never pull it.

04 · Living

Throws

  • Always follow the care label sewn into your throw.
  • Shake it out regularly to keep the pile soft and full.
  • Treat small marks quickly with a damp cloth.
  • Store it folded in a breathable cotton bag, away from direct sunlight.

05 · Storage

Storing your linen

  • Store your linen clean and completely dry, in a cool, dry, well-ventilated cupboard.
  • Avoid plastic boxes — cotton needs to breathe.
  • Keep each set together by folding the sheets and duvet cover inside one of its pillowcases.
  • Rotate your sets so each one wears evenly.

Our sheets become softer with every wash — a little more beautiful each time.
